WHO IS CALEME ?
Caleme was born in France in 1972 into an Alsatian family whose nurturing activity was linked to paper trades.
She started her career in art in 2004 by working as a frescoist for almost a decade, as a member of the « La Maison des Artistes». She matured in China where she lived for several years, learning from expert masters in traditional techniques and training in the art of paper.
Now a member of the International Association of Artists and Paper Manufacturers (IAPMA), she perpetuates this art in Morocco, where she currently lives.

Caleme has always been caught up with the harmony of nature in its diversity, all the while being touched by the sameness of men in the simple and sincere beauty of their daily lives.
This is what she seeks to convey in her works with a touch of offbeat poetry.
Her series of colorful means of transportation has served a number of charitable projects such as "Marriott Hope Project" or "Color of China".
