WHO ARE THE mamouchkas ?

LAURA GUÉRY & JULIE WENDLING, THE MAMOUCHKAS.

Both illustrators, they met during their studies at the Emile Cohl School of Lyon.

Having a taste for colors and patterns from here and elsewhere, they decided to put more and more of their world together.

First signing their works of their own two names, it is in 2010 that they chose to call their duo "Mamouchkas".

After having lived several years in Lyon, they settled in 2012 in Saint-Étienne, in a new workshop.

Thanks to their encounters and in this "City of Design" with its rich history, they naturally created and dreamed to new albums, cards and notebooks.

They always try to put poetry in their four-handed illustrations.
