Aurélie Muller, also known as "Le Poussin rose des bois", was born in 1995. She grew up in Alsace, North-East of France, near the mountains. Nature has always been her first source of inspiration.
She is curious and she loves manual crafting in general: embroidery, crochet, sewing, DIY, and of course, drawing and painting.
It is therefore quite naturally that she turned to an artistic profession. After obtaining her degree in Applied Art at Le Corbusier high school in Illkirch, Aurélie continued with a two years technical degree in Space Design.
Her studies of scenic art at the Strasbourg’s College allowed her to consolidate her knowledges to finally finish her studies with a bachelor degree in communication techniques at the University Institute of Technology « Robert Schuman » of Illkirch.
Armed with all her background, Aurélie started her own business as a graphic designer and illustrator in 2019 known as Le Poussin Rose des Bois, working mainly on communication media.
It was in 2020 that Aurélie turned to stationery and illustrations for children's books.
