WHO IS Sophie turrel ?

Sophie Turrel was born in 1973 in Grenoble.

Designer since childhood like all children ... she just never stopped drawing!

After studying design at the Beaux-Arts school in Saint-Étienne in 1997, she returned to her hometown where she worked as an illustrator.

Now living in Savoie, she is an illustrator and independent graphic designer; working mainly in the traditional way: by hand, with her brushes and colored pencils.

Sophie's illustrations are cheerful, bright and colorful, and her world is often related to the world of childhood.

In parallel with her cards published since 1999 at the Editions des Correspondances, she illustrates youth books, creates posters and creates logos.

When she is not at her drawing table with her pencils and her color inks to create an illustration, it is because she is in a book signing session ... unless she is walking in the forest or meadows of its Savoyard mountains!
